Hi all,
Need a new fridge for the jalopy and are tossing up between these two 2 way models.....
Does anyone have any info / experience with the Primus model. With a 3 year warranty and about 50% of the price of the t/blaza...I would be interested in any feedback..

Don't know about Primus but we can't speak highly enough of the Trailblazer - have had one for over 10 years. Both our son and daughter also have trailblazers. Ours gets used all the time we travel about 3 months each year and on heaps or rough corrugated roads.
Our daughter has been using one as a deep freeze for 4 years now without missing a beat,
A great Australian made product.

Couldn't agree more Bundalene. Trailblaza is the way to go. We bought an 80l in 1992 and that thing has been everywhere (.........nearly) in the back of everything from a S2A to a Disco TD5 and is now mounted in our camper trailer and is still working "better than a bought one" ("Touch wood" says he as he taps his head)

I have an Engel and a Trailblaza.
Had both for many, many years. I needed a bigger and better fridge than the old Engel so bought the Trailblaza with the thicker insulation and with trips to the top end in mind.
The Engel isn't bad and I still use it when it's smaller size is more convenient, but it is not as patch on the Trailblaza when all aspects are considered.
I don't know anything about the Primus units. If you don't plan to spend much time in far north, and only use it for a few trips with only short stops relying on battery power, most of the fridges will do the job.
