do the 2001 models have the CDL fitted?

No only the 2003MY onwards D2's had CDL as a factory fit in Australia. Sometime in 2001 saw LR actually remove the CDL stub from the transfer box so you couldn't even fit one afterwards.... What were they thinking... Oh that's the other thread!

no i am not... :angel: ( tho i did spot a really nice 100 series cruiser in the right configuration and colour etc the other day)

couldnt answer a question put by a mate.....:(

They have it on the transfer case but no linkage!!:)

Most 2001 models up to around Nov/Dec should have the CDL in the transfer case. Deletion of this component started very late 01 until the D2A late 02. If in doubt, reach up and have a feel for the 10mm spigot on the top of the transfer case front housing. Attached is a photo of a TC without the spigot, it will give you an idea where to reach up and feel.
