It started!

The Range Rover hybrid which has been stored for the previous 8 months whilst I was in Australia started. It is a tempermental 30 year old Range Rover hybrid with a 3.9 EFi V8 in.

I will not lie and say it started first turn of the key as it didn't. The battery which I had left on trickle charge had somehow got switched off whilst I was down under so I had to jump start it from the D2 Took several attempts at cranking over to get it running again but the throb of the V8 was soon echoing around the mill complex.

All I need to do now is get it MOT and a new tax disc on it and it will be legal again. Then there is the problem with the fuel pump as it is only running on gas at the moment.

And that is more than the thing ever does for me, I have lost count of the number of times it wouldn't start or decided to break down at inopportune moments like on the crown of the road on a fast bend whilst turning right :twisted:. And even when it does go it sprays me with a fine mist of oil while I am driving it.
Do you get the impression, we don't get on? Bren reckons it is because we are both feisty females and rub each other up the wrong way :o
