D1 Steering Box

Howdy guys , Just wanting to know whats involved with getting the steering box out of my D1 . is it a big project ? It's leaking like a sieve from where the steering column goes in .

Should a easy job to get out the only special tool needed is a tie rod end splitter
These things are exy to get fixed or replace , i just happen to have a good second hand one Pm if interested;)

dont bother taking it out, you can change that top input seal in place, all you need is a few wood screws. Karcraft have the kit, under $20 from memory.
