The last segment with the trucks makes you appreciate why the "biggest wins".............. Makes all the talk about 4WDs being dangerous to other road users and pedestrians seem irrelevant

Was it the ones with the Trucks that they had to do all the callenges with. Clarkson Magmum is really cool in Matt black

I do not tend to watch the SBS ones as i down load the Uk ones soon after they air

we used to have them sent to us from the Uk but we have asked them to stop because most of this series we have seen and its annoying to sit down and find out that you have already seen it:(

So from now on we watch it with the rest....well before most anyway;)

SBS are really catching up. This is the series that has just been aired in the Uk. That is the first in the 12th season. And they only finished airing the 12 th season in the UK a couple of weeks ago.
Come back on in the uk in march

we watched these in nov we were given the discs in oct......but yes SBS has reallt picked up its game I actually enjoy SBS as a channel I think they have some good stuff on it

Apparantly Clarkson got a lot of negative feedback in pommyland when it was aired over there. The truckies did'nt see the funny side of "killl a prostitute"

I thought it was hilarious......and clarkson wouldn't give a toss what the truckies think he is a shock jock of the tv world he goes out of his way to upset people and do the wrong thing especially if they annoy him on his route to work

Well people you wont be disapointed in the whole of 12th series, every ep is as good as last and the we watched ep 8 the other night and its a pearler :D

funny its just aired here... that was the first episode of the 12th season and i thought it'd been aired a month back or where we still catching up on the last season? (i don't usually watch it on tv).

Also as said, Clarkson was in trouble for the comment as supposedly not long beforehand a truckie in the UK had been arrested and charged with picking up and murdering prostitutes ;)

that would be why he said it.......alot of his comments are made to look off the cuff, but a lot of them are vrey much directed to what ever news is going on at the time...

like I said he doesn't give a **** about upsetting people.....thats why they conitnuosly crack jokes about the environment etc

Not all of it. I have been to see it filmed twice now and they are great mates and bounch of each other really well. The filming went for all day for one show and it was laughs all the way though. Plus you should hear what they say about cars when the cameras are not rolling , or the stuff you don't get to see. A couple of days i won't forget for a while :):)

Not true we actually get SBS over here on Adelaide time so when it airs at 19:30 in SA its 18:30 here and we can watch it.

So why am I posting this now :confused:

Because I have just watched the recording of it after 13 hours of night shift :(

Read all the UK stuff about Clarkson's comments on truckies, from what I understand the "kill" comment really was rather low even for JC. But the pies and "gentleman's magazines" and the other comments were classic Top Gear.

That would be awesome to see. I read a while ago that the waiting list to be in studio for the taping is around 330,000+ long, which in other words equates to a wait of 21yrs!:o

Is in trouble again this time for picking on Morris Marina cars.

Seems that they trashed one in an episode then made comments about the kind of people who own them. Then after protests from the UK owners clubs went out and purchased a one owner 30k example and destroyed it on air.

Showing their power / mental age of some viewers the Marina car clubs had to take down their web forums as they were being attacked in them and we unable to operate due to the volume of such activity.

Wait to see what happens next as it now seems that after their complaint to the BBC about this there was a large purchase of Marina club material which was delivered to a TV studio in London which happens to be where Top Gear is controlled from.

If Land-Rover were to fall from the shows favour same could happen here.
