Hi,
TD5 D2 2000 Auto. I had a regulator fault which left me with no alternator output from early morning, sometime around parking at work, until i noticed it when i left for home in the evening. Resulted in voltage drop on the way home to the point where most of the major systems dropped off. Fortunately the truck was running at this point and i was able to limp home in with no gear change, abs, or anything else.
Mechanic fixed it all, and they were able to clear all the fault codes that cropped up, except the digital odometer, which blinks constantly now. It still works fine, and doesn't bother me, but i suppose at some point it should be sorted. Is this something that can be rectified with nanocom,or other tech support, or is this a dealer only fix.
thnx in adv
