02 disco roof rails

Does anyone know if mounting points are uder the hood lining?
I want to put the disco roof rails on my 02 I have a set but would rather know that the mounting points are there before I remove the head lining?

Yes...

You need to drop the head lining, use a centring tool and drill pilot holes through the roof.

Then cut the larger locating hole from above, paint the edges, seal the rail and do the nut up from inside (underneath)...

Then put your interior back together :cool:

I had my rails removed so I could fit a proper TJM alloy rack and yes access to the nuts is only possible after removing the roof lining.
