A friend near Launceston told me they had an S1 wreck on their farm they were going to remove and send to the scrap.

It is probably too far gone, but if anyone is interested, it is free to whoever wants it. You would need to arrange transport though.

Seems to be minus axles, engine and doors, etc. The rear tub has been replaced with a timber tray.

Btw - I walked out into the paddock at 6am to take those pics wearing thongs... My toes almost died of frostbite from the near freezing dew...

I'm thinking too far gone. Not too much of it left and in Tassie I'd say the firewall would be shot. Bonnet might be salvageable tho :D

The firewall and chassis looked surprisingly rust free, but then I only had a quick look. The leaf springs (or some of them) were also there and looked in good nick.
