Please advice me to find out whether these wheels and tyres 195/80/15 (5 studs, for Freelander from 2002 to 2003) fit for my FRL1 (5 studs, same tyres size 195/80/15) or not?

I am thinking that they should be alright because they are the same size and 5 studs. Not sure it is right though or not.

Pls see the attachment for its pics (sorry I don't know how to insert the image into this thread).

Thanks,

Harry

Yes they will...

However, if it was the other way around (i.e. Old wheels, new car) then it wouldn't due to the offset required to clear the brake calipers.

They look like the standard Freelander 1 15" alloy wheels - if they are the Landrover product they will fit pre 200 Freelanders and probably fit post 2000 freelanders.

Thanks Garry so much.

I will try to find out technical detail for them to have the correct size.

Cheers,
Harry

If you're still unsure, the simple way is to get the part number which will be moulded into the rear of the rim.

Not so sure now - the ones in the pick are 6 spoke where the early FL1 were 5 spoke - are these in fact the later post 2000 standard alloy wheels?

Yes... That's what he said in the first post. The wheels are from an '02/'03 car.

Anything pre 2000 will only fit the pre 2000 cars. Any post 2000 Freelander rim will fit any Freelander 1, including the pre 2000 cars.

(The post 2000 cars have slightly larger brake calipers so the later rims had to have a slightly bigger offset to compensate. This extra offset is fine for the early cars.)
