Went to check out the new Disco 3 today. I went to Rolfe only to find out that Lennocks have taken over L/R in the ACT as of the 1st January. I hope they will promote L/R more here and are willing do deal : something Rolfe's weren't interested in. I must say my dealings with Rolfe service weren't good, except for the guys in spare parts.

The old ones were really bad. Suspect they lost it for good reason.
Heard god reports about the service with the new mob.

I must say my dealings with Rolfe service weren't good, except for the guys in spare parts.

I second that.

I was at Rolfe in late-Nov looking at Jags and Jeeps (sorry, gotta look) and they told me they were "selling" the Jag and LR part to Lennocks. I suppose that sounds better than LR (or TaTa) taking it off them. Who knows for sure?

Hope that Lennocks do a better job in servcing LR's, otherwise Ray at CMW is going to get even busier. It's hard enough to get a booking with him now.

The story I was given was that Rolfe were told to either build a new LR dealership where there weren't Jeeps or lose the dealership. They decided not to build a new showroom and workshop.
After having 3 new discos through them the Jeep mob were better than the previous incarnation housed with the BMW dealership. I'm looking forward to a new start though.

:BigThumb:

I'm relying on you in Canberra & nearby locales to give them plenty of experience, in case I need them sometime. :)

Best Wishes,
Peter
