Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone was running 35's or equivalent on their fenda and how much lift/ trouble they went to to make them fit. Also wat offset is needed?

Cheers, Tim

I have run 34" on my 2" lifted County, no probs, others on this forum will say the same, however the problem you might encounter is whether the cops will want to see an engineering approval.
My engineer would'nt do it, saying uniform laws are in and 50mm is the max. There is an overall 25mm increase in inside track max in Vic too.
I'd check with the authorities & there seems to be a lot of oversize tyres selling on ebay lately.

thanks guys. yeah i'm guessing that they will probably not be legal. just hoping a land rover wont attract much attention next to some of the 6inch lifted patrols with 37's and the like getting round town:angel:

So that means that if the supposedly uniform new rules (NCOPS ?) are strictly applied and 235/85's are taken as approximately somewhere in the 800-810mm overall diameter range new (approx. 31.5-31.7") the tallest tyre you can legally fit is something like a 255/85 at 846mm/33.3" tall or the 285/75 at around the same height.
Has anyone tested that yet ?

Having just had my Project Landie engineered, & I tried to get approval for my 34" swampers from the VicRoads approved engineer - I pretty much got stonewalled from him- he said no exceptions anymore.:(

34's should just make it in on a fender/county... i thought the new rules were 50mm extra (but can't find it on the site)

Outlaw are you located on the gold coast and what did that cost you to put the wheels and tyers on.
If you are in the area what is the next meet for the gold coast club and are there similar rigs in the club
                                    cheers

Would be interested in seeing what your gonna do about moving the flares out... I've got similar offset rims and they stick out about 2" further than the original flares... I just havent been able to think of a way to extend them out..
Do you know how your gonna do it yet...? Would love some tips:)

And where do you get the flares for the rear ?? have been looking but can not match the front flares yet
                                        Cheers blue
