Not having spent alot of time measuring things up under the vehicle I'm just working on what I should do to to get some more front clearance. Anyway, short of doing a dreaded body lift, I grabbed the tape measure and measured from the bottom of the rims to the body line in the centre of the vehicle. This appears to be straight with the car, but is 1-inch higher at the back.

So effectively, I'm thinking of just putting some 1-inch spacers in the front. Anyone looked into this before?

Its more likely that the front has dropped. I'm not sure about the D1, but the D2 come from the factory higher in the front than the rear.

Mine is sunken in the rear, the front probably sits higher. I was thinking about lifting the whole car, but I may just put H/D springs in the rear. It looks like a horse in season when the rear is significantly higher than the front.

Standard "pose" with most lifts seems to be for it to sit a bit higher in the rear ( unladen ). I guess this is so when you load it up in the back it looks about level.

ya. Depending upon which springs you have purchased. It should give you 50mm lift after you load her up.

Pretty much what I thought, and with towing in mind I guess.

RRC's came from the factory slightly nose down so i expect the D1 was the same.

Mine is higher at the back, and levels out nicely with a trailer. Keep it like that Box, else lift all 4 corners.
