Like any other day got the tractor out to do some slashing;). Thought I would do one of our steep paddocks ( entry about 30deg down hill). Like always nosed the tractor over and as the back wheels drop in you accelerate to eliminate sliding. Well this works great in 4wd hey. Some goose had left it in 2wd to move some machinery in the shed:mad:. So after I rocketed off towards the dam thinking why are the brakes not doing much ( all the weight is on the front axle derrrrr) the old brain kicked in and I dropped the loader bucket into the ground. Great trench in the paddock now and my spincter is once again water tight:cool:.
So like checking your centre diff is in before you reach an obstacle, it always pays to check the simple things.

:D You do have a way with words Justin, but having been at your place, i can imagine that it was not funny at the time - fortunately you have quick reflexes and you know your vehicles well, well saved

Great idea having a ROPS but they should come with at least a lap belt. Its bloody hard staying on the seat when they go over.
