Hi,
We have just purchased a set of Bearmach 4 leaf parabolic rear springs, and I have a few questions.
1. Does anyone know where we can get a front set at a reasonable price? We have tried a few places but they all seem a bit pricey - $400 up.
2. If we put the rear set in and leave the front set as the original leaves, will we encounter any problems? Will it make any difference to the ride or should we just wait till we have a matching set.
3. Any recommendations for gas shocks? We are thinking Old Man Emu, does anyone have any feedback on these, or a preference for another brand?

Thanks,
Kristen

I can only go on what was suggested to me when I put parabolics on our Stage 1..........wait until you have a full set, as I reckon it would upset the ride.

if youve got a heap of weight on you can get away with putting the paras at the front and leaving the stock leaves at the rear a camper decked out to be totally self sufficient on supplies (bar fuel but assuming you have at least 200l of that) should weigh in enough.

I wouldnt leave it set up that way forever tho.

If they're 4 leaf Dave, they'll be rears, as the fronts are only 2 leaf.

Hydraulic dampers are my preference - gas ones seem to fail suddenly in my experience - oil ones give plenty of warning that they need replacing.
