My time with the D2 has come to an end, sold it back to a mate of the guy i got it off, happy days all round!

Anyway, i want a Classic, preferably late 80's, early 90's up to around 4k, as good a condition as possible, if anyone knows of one, i'd appreciate the heads up.
I've put a notice in the cars wanted, so PM me if you know of anything.

cheers,

Ray

I remember you had a Rangie before (92 Vogue IICR), though you were mad selling it but I guess it was certain circumstances that forced you to. As good as the Discovery is they're just not the same, hard to explain but drive one after the other and the difference is obvious

Couple going around on e-bay for a steal, Ibest has a 91 Vogue SE for sale in the markets but at $5 1/2K maybe a bit more than you want to spend.

Good luck in your search.

Cheers Trav,

I did have the 92 Classic, was very good too, but got a great deal on the sell price, i can never resist a deal...I too prefer them to Discovery's, I think they ride loads better over all, just a bit more comfortable as well, I'd had them before back in NZ, but now the D2 is on the way out, it's time for another..
I'll give Ibest a call too, his looks very good but may want too much for it for me, you never know though.

Cheers,

Ray

All he can do is say no, but with the way the market is at the moment you should pick up a good buy anyway.

Good luck with it.

I'll have an '87 auto for sale soon. In , I think, very good cond for it's age. From memory 220k's but runs beautfully.

Waiting for the wife to get back from England, as it is hers, so she has to sign the rego papers.

Work done to it since we have owned it.

Brakes pads replaced, brake calipers inspected and corroded piston replaced, and freshly bled.
MAF and ECU replaced.
Head gaskets and exhaust gaskets replaced.

ACT registered, and can supply 3 months rego.

I am glad that you have a safe trip. I new that the Rangie was up to the job ;)

I am looking forward to see "The Beast" with all the future goodies :)

Last Friday, when you was here at 9 am was 33c and 85% humidity, by 11.30 37 centigrades

It was one of the worse days this summer :(

Cheers

It went really well, nice and smooth, as they should be, on the way down we stopped in at Hervey Bay, the humidity was incredible...

At least the aircon worked!

Hello Rayngie

You got a great Rangie.
I was fortunate enough to meet Both Arthur and Rosi here in Hobart last year.
Arthur had just sold his disco and returned to Hobart with the Rangie.
I loved it at first sight.
Well looked after.
Arthur took me for a drive and I was blown away by the level of comfort and condition it is in.
What ever you paid? You got yourself a GOOd 1.
It is great to hear Arthur has found such a good Home 4 it too goto.
Please post pictures as you can as I for 1 am looking forward to it,s progress / trips that it shall take part in.

PS Bring it to Tassie again and meet the locals.:)
Cheers
