Hi guys,
Slowly working through some maintenance checks on my discovery, redoing a couple of modifications done by the previous owner.
I noticed the free spool lever on the the winch is really stiff to turn. ( Magnum 9000).
I started by giving it a bit of CRC to help free it up, which helped a little, but was wondering if really I should pull the winch out and take a look whats going on inside.
I would rather not pull it out if I'm wasting my time, but I am also trying to get a few of the additions done properly, as it appears a few where installed by some pretty rough tradesmen or otherwise. http://www.lrocv.com.au/forum/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif
Anyone have any experience that might help point me in the right direction?
Cheers, Mark
