Good evening All,
I hope someone who deals in these things or is in the know, may be able to help. I have a chap who wants to buy my spare original 130 rim that is shod with a Michelin XZL 7.50 R 16 Mud terrain type tyre. The tyre is in excellent condition with heaps of tread on it. I am not sure if it has even been used to be honest as it came with the vehicle when I bought it. It is surplus to my needs as I have D1 rims on the truck (currently flipping the centres and increasing the offset) so I don't really need it. What would be a fair price for it as I don't want to rip him off but don't want to rip myself off either! Thanks in advance for any help.
cheers Dave Kil

A new genuine Wolf rim is about $220-$240, and yours is pretty much the same as that (a fraction lighter). So, the rim might be worth $100 second hand.

Second hand tyres are hard to value. New the XZLs are very expensive, but if it is old and the rubber has gone 'off' a bit.......

Ask for a couple of hundred and negotiate! $150 if he is a good mate perhaps.

A set of 4 rims (no tyres) went on eBay recently for $350.90. The rims were used.

They are probably worth more as a set, but then again it's not exactly easy to find one to use as a spare. If the tyre is old it won't be worth much, as they do go off over time. $100 - $150 seems reasonable, but that's just my opinion. I met a guy once who seemed to think that his were made of gold:D
