Hi everyone,

I have recently purchased a 2001 RR HSE 4.6 in the colour 'white gold'.

Unfortunately the exterior paint and plastics/rubbers are quite faded and in particular the paint is quite thin in some areas along with the usual car park scratches e.t.c. I dont think the car has seen a shed in a long time.

To cut a long story short, could anyone recommend someone who would do a really nice job of painting my car and restoring the colour or painting the exterior plastics without charging a Kings Ransom?

I live in the country South East of Melbourne but would be happy to travel to the city or further affield for the right job.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bluey......

I cannot reecomend anyone in vic, but get them to colour code the bumpers, mirrors and side skirts while you are there, they look really good like that.

Colour Code:

Red for faster
Blue for cool
Green for envy?

Or get them colour matched to the bodywork.

Colour coding is a correct term wrt automotive bodywork as Andy has used it.

Whereabouts in s/e Vic are you? Roger Manson panels in Drouin did a very nice job for me a little while ago, and I was looking at some paintwork they had done on a friend's Rangie last week that was excellent. I don't imagine that a full respray worthy of a Range Rover would be a cheap undertaking.

Glad you had a good experience with them - I would not recommend them at all.

Cheers,
