Change of scenery today.
Was loading sand with this BEAST.

Our front end loader blew up shortly after having the headgasket done.Whilst it is back getting repaired again the dealer has leant us this monster.
Its a Doosan Mega 400V.A 22tonne loader,a tad bigger than our 10tonne loader!!!!!
2 buckets fills a 6 wheeler:cool::cool::cool::cool:
Its got loads of grunt too:cool::cool::cool::cool:

MMMMMM...... nice. looks similar to the Komatsu I used to drive. It had a 5 metre bucket which equated to about 6 tonne of sand depending on moisture content. Boy, they can push dirt can't they.

On one job me and another guy had to move 220,000 cubic metres of topsoil and sand, mix it and then screen it. 6 weeks straight of moving, heaping it up as the trucks would dump it, then mix it in equal portions using the scales and then running the lot through a screen. After 6 weeks I was looking forward to getting back on the road in the truck, and then I was looking forward to getting back in the Komatsu just to break things up a bit. I always went for the Komatsu over the smaller CAT or Hanamag loaders though. BIG is always better :twisted::twisted::twisted:.
I used to take one look in the graders and say no way, too confusing, too many levers
