I'm down on my farm at the moment. It's 45 c and the min temp tonight will be 32. Its the hottest day in Adelaide for 70 years.

Was there 7/01/09 for a couple of weeks .... My Folk's have retired there ... Loads of Swimming all the Beaches / 4x4ing on tracks / home cooking .....

Didnt get much warmer than 23deg today:cool::cool::cool::cool: Overcast and trying to drizzle all day.

Glad I'm not where you are Tombie. I did a bit of time out at SMR on the bene plant a while back (when we built & commissioned it) and it was hot enough then - only about 40 in the shade.

It was about 40 - 41 right through the long weekend in Kal. My young bloke decided to go to Esperance motor bike riding with his mates to get away from the heat - and it was 45 down there.

Typical though - as soon as I flew out of Kal and back to work, the rain from the cyclone up north started and Kal has copped a bucketing.

Well - at least the lawn I mowed on Monday (the green parts of it anyway), might do some good out of it.
