Just got an email from Australian 4WD Action about subscribing to their new gardening magazine! "How to grow fruits and vegies". Now that's diversification :o

Inc better think about starting up a painting and decorating subscription or something, or he is going to get left behind!

Well I like gardening as much as the next man.

As long as I can use a chainsaw or a tractor it is quite enjoyable.

look he has grown palm leaves out of his passenger window...and over sized broccoli on his roof.......mate if I were you I would harness that talent and start up a magazine in competition especially as you seems to have captured both captive markets :lol2:

i can just imagine "gardening action magazine" full of ads for pruning saws and bug sprays and of course Roothy doing the same thing he does in 4wd action, spout tonnes of manure out of his mouth.
stories on long range watering cans, how to get more power out of your whipper-snipper, the best shovels to use for what soil.
sounds bloody interesting, might subscribe.

Geoff There will be plenty of manure left after some of the write ups:D

Next month we will look at fitting a raised air intake, water injection and M/Ts on a wheelbarrow :p

Express Publications, who publish 4x4 Action, have many equally august titles, like Fast fours or fives or sixes, Hot Commodores and or Falcons, various Caravanning thingys and god knows what else.....
extreme gardening is a natural fit:D

It’s probably a natural progression if they are looking at expanding the publication range.

While we here like 4x4ing, the most popular recreational sport is fishing BUT the most popular recreational pass time in Australia, by a big margin, is Gardening
