235 85 r16 ??

hi just a note re fitting 235 85 r16's to an un modded 86 rrc, do they foul the gards?

They will rub in the rear wheel arches when flexing and rub on the front radius arms when steering.

I used 235-85-16 in my 88 RR with 50 mm suspension lift and they were OK

You mustn't have been getting very good flex in the rear then, or using full lock in the front.
