I have a 40ltr engel and wonder ,Where do you all put your engels in a 110. I want to keep the rear (middle seats) as they are used . I don't keep the fridge in the car all the time just when i go away or other trips. So i have bought those clip things from ARB to hold the fridge down with straps, just need to work out where to put them :)

I was thinking on the wheel arch , which is where it sits in the 90 but i don't know as with the 90 and being a soft top you can get into it over the number plate but can't do that in the 110.

This is the back of my 110 now i have taken out the large outback draws and put in my draw set. Only have the one draw in at the moment but when i go traveling will pull the draw towards the back of the car and put in the other lift top box behind it . Like the picture shows in the 90 . but at the moment that one is in the back of the 90 so that both trucks have a storage box in them

I fitted my Waeco 50 lts and the portable 80 amps battery on the LHS wheel arch.
This setup gives me pleny room for storage.
On the RHS wheel arch I have anchor points to hold the tool box and the box with the recovery gear/spares.
I would build storage drawers or fit Pelican boxes on the centre in the future.

I also have a engle 40 ltr fridge
I fit my fridge in my 110 when i dont have people in the back , On the drivers side behind the driver with the split fold seat folded forward the fridge fits in there just nice ;)
I also have a cago barrier so i tie the fridge to that :D , When i have more than 1 passenger the fridge goes in the cargo area;)

Hi Ali,
You've got exactly the same setup as me with the MSS boxes... :D
FWIW, I've got my fridge in the middle of the 2nd row seats. I don't have the standard LR seats in the back of mine, instead I've got the 3x individual seats from Exmoor Trim (more comfortable). I've removed the middle seat and fitted the fridge, on one of those Engel quick release systems, there instead.
I find it very useful, not only as a location for the fridge but as a physical barrier for the kids when they're fighting!!!!

I've got a false floor that goes across the guards and my fridge sits on that with one of those Platinum drop slides, works really well.

For weekend trips, I've got my 60ltr fitted on top of the shelf which is across the wheel arches, it fits in there lengthways very well leaving plenty of room for other gear. Power supply is on the top of the guard for the rear lights.
For longer trips I take out the back seats and the back of the fridge rests on the raised section of floor and the front on a steel support which is bolted through the floor.
In both positions I have bolts into the bottom of the fridge to keep it secure.
In the long trip position it's just the right height for the cook to reach in and get me a beer without her having to stretch too much!:D

I used to use an Engel Slide Lock to lock it down which worked a treat.

Do they work , it is just i looked at one today and they only lock it down in one corner and i thought that would not hold it that much

I tie mine down in the rear doorway. If I need it out of the car the lead is long enough to let me put it down out of the way.

Al have the slide lock AND I also ratchet strap the fridge down as well! Belt and braces maybe, but it has not moved, OK have to tighten up ratchet strap occassionally. Would be relunctant just to rely on one of them
Engel is situated behimd the drivers seat in my 110 going length ways into 110 so it is accessible from doorway. It is mounted on ali plate. Underneath that is my 70 litre water tank. When get my 110 back, the water tank will come out and the hi lift jack/ground anchor etc will reside under the ali plate.
In the rear I have the MSS box and roller unit in the load bed like you. Left hand wheel arch there are the stacking MSS boxes. MSS does great kit

I made a angle frame that bolts in place of the single side of the split rear seat. Front has legs that bolt to the existing seat mount and back bolts to the little shelf on rear wheel arches. Ply board drops into angle frame and fridge sits lengthways between cargo barrier and front seat. Engel fridge is strapped down to frame. Works a treat. Easy access via back door and rear two seats still usable. Safe and secure. Only down side is front seat cant move or tilt back too far but other half never complained about this even on our round Australia trip.

I have mine mounted on top of the roller drawer at the Left hand side at the rear. It is not all the way up to the side window, as the lid would hit the plastic protrusion where the side attached to the roof. It is about 150mm from the side, which is perfect space for 3 collapsible camp chairs to fit between it and the window. With it partially in the rear door area, it is easy access from the rear step. I used a piece of 19mm HMR particle board with 4 retractable tie down loops countersunk into it. I screwed it down to the roller drawers, and tie the fridge with sash cord to them. When the loops are in the up position, they help hold the fridge in place also. I also loop a bicycle chain and lock through one of the loops, and around the handle to make it a little less opportunistic of a target to take.

When I had 110's previously, I made up a two piece floor - first bit between the rear wheel arches, and a second which filled in the rear seat after you whipped them out (and the seat belt fittings). This gave me a platform for the fridge, (easily reachable when behind the front pax seat), but also a base for a double foam mattress....ah luxury.
This wasn't permanent so I could revert to five seater etc etc.
And on one of my solo cross nullarbor trips, I have even set up a platform on the front seat for the fridge, and kept the seat squab in the back (great picnic cushion too).
Good luck.

I've got the slide lock and I've never needed to ratchet it down.
However I will say that it's worth putting some thread lock on the bolts holding the feet in place.

As I'm not in to carting arround passengers..I ripped out the single back seat and made a mount for the engel in its place inturn freeing up more storage space in the rear.
Advantages it can be reached from the drivers seat or open rear passenger door for access.
