New topic for this week

Parallels

The photo has to exhibit something parallel, whether they be parallel lines or something from a parallel universe ;). Hopefully this will allow a bit of creative thought to satisfy your interpretation, but or course we will have to convince everyone else that it 'fits'.

Rules:

Posted or linked photo should be no larger than 800px on the long side.
Photo must have been taken during 2009.
Minimum post processing (we will have to trust you).
Photo MUST have been taken by the poster.
One photo only If you upload more than one photo the first will be kept and subsequent ones will be deleted.
Please feel free to discuss the photo's that are submitted BUT DO NOT Quote using the picture.....we dont want to see 5 of the same picture just because people have quoted and not taken out the picture link please upload your photo here. Posts that are not directly relevant to the pictures submitted will be deleted. Happy snapping

So the comp starts Sun 1st and effectively finishes on Sun 8th.

How about parallel parking?

Taken at the LROCV Dargo/Waterford basecamp, the Saturday of the Australia Day weekend. It was at dawn, just after a storm had gone through. The lighting was magic. :)

Alloy tig weld, then given a quik polish. It took a few shots to get the camera flash to line up with the "L" but i think the result was worth it

My first thought was that it was some kind of trick shot with a long exposure of something spinning around and around but now I don't know.

Here is my effort... This is the first time I've actually taken a shot specifically for a comp.

My favourite form of parallel lines - 6 of them actually...
