My neighbours must have though some clown was out doing laps in his drag Torana yesterday. Yet it was I!
After getting the heads back on and the new extractors in place, I decided to go for a quick squirt. Damn it sounded cool!

That's it Ron :D . Smoke coming off the front tyres is not cool :D;) . And what makes burnouts cool is the sound of a roaring V8 not some chook rotisserie squealing it's head off with a bloke hanging out the window yelling " Checkout my wheels ya stooge ! My Proton is the shizzle " :( so uncool ...... :D:D;)

Considering Clarkson recons the volvo station wagon is 'Super cool' (anyone watched TG last night?) then the Proton would be the shizzle... :D
BTW Fusion, you sound like a few mates of mine, including Boxer lol

hahaha, got the car to the exhaust shop this morning, so it's back to sounding less like a drag car. I was going to grab a phone clip of it this morning, but since I'd made up some baffle plates to shut it up for todays drive, it sounded like ****.
Might be doing some filming at Powercruise later this month, might give me an excuse to drop the pipes :)

Went with the composites. From what I found out, the tin ones are better, but only when you're building a fresh engine with machined heads and a a decked block. Makes sense to me. I just sprayed a bit of Hylomar on the ends of the gaskets around the water jackets and replaced all of the head bolts. So far so good.

Rover tec in W.A. modified a V8. It created a real fog. dont think front prop shaft was removed either.
See if I can get a photo.

You're right, it was Rovertech, but the front shaft is out in those pics.
Was built for a bricky if I remember correctly.
Engine was V8 3.9 Eaton, Water Injection....etc etc
