LT85 falling out of second gear

Help.

Previous owner said it had been recently rebuilt, which I think means he bought it recently rebuilt and didn't drive it much. Rebuild apparently done by a LR specialist.

Falling out of second gear.

It was difficult to change in and out of second for a while, particularly first to second, lots of shuffling, etc. worst when cold.

Changed to Syntrans smoothed thing up immediately, again particularly when cold.

I hoped that it was wrong oil.

Still falling out of second.

I wonder if it was the same landrover gearbox specialist that rebuilt mine, it also falls out of 2nd. Wasnt very happy after the $3.2k bill either.

the 1/2 selector forks are very prone to wear on the feet, this would not put it all the way into gear,

FRC7769M is what you need,
