Hi all,
I've decided to get a nextG phone....(graduating from GSM)
one looks as if it's OK for rural use, the Samsung A411 Next G
has anyone had experience of this one or would anyone care to recommend any others
thanks - Laurie

Had a Samsung A501 flip-phone for a couple of years. No problems at all.
Currently have Nokia N95-1 4Gb.
Sensational 5 Mp camera, quick inbuilt free AGPS (Voice costs though), excellent software available to add heaps of onboard options.
Just been added to Telstra $40.00/mth plans.
Well worth a look.

thanks rangie man, not sure how to take the "poor eyesight" bit :), is it because it's ugly or is it because it's really easy for us old fellas to use?

You can see the numbers that you are dealing from 100 yards if youuse the option to enlarge the numbers :D

No for the user with poor eye sight , when reading a txt you can also make the words larger when reading ,I found out by mistake how to do this ;)
Yes when dialing the number s displayed are large enough for most sight impaired persons;)
Oh and enough of the old fella bit !

I have the zte165...... It is the worst phone I have ever had. It is fragile despite what the advertisement says and replacement bits cost as much as the whole phone. I would replace the phone but having payed 300bucks for it outright I'm trying to squeeze the last bit of life out of it.
