Well ive gone and done it now. Got sick of the eternal quest for a 110 and a decent trade on the Sonata so i went with the next best thing.
Sitting in the driveway is the Sonatas replacement an Xj Cherokee. gasp.....choke.....
Its not a landy but youve got to grant its better than a hyundai sonata. Feels good to be back in a 4WD daily driver. Seems like a good basic truck which is what i need. Plans are for weekend bush and beach work and carrying all my junk around for the rest of the time. Should be better at tip runs than the sonata anyway :p

You won't feel like you forgot to leave something at the tip :D

the Jeep will be a bit of fun too. Heaps of people cant even tell the difference between a Jeep and a Landy anyway.

In with pics before anyone asks :p
The more i fiddle with it the more i like it. They have a lot of similarities to lands. Lots of rattles and squeaks  first fourby i've owned that doesn't mark its territory on the drive.

No spare is in the normal position for a jeep, wish it was on LPG wouldnt mind paying 40 odd cents a litre.

If I parked the jeep there the missus would surgically remove parts of my body. The shiny new concrete is for her shiny car. :p:p:p

I thought they were a pretty good vehicle - till some showed up at the auctions as total write offs. One that I recall had a side swipe- not a bad hit really- and was totalled. It was too badly distorted.
I was surprise the amount of fibreglass in them.

Anyway, I guess you did'nt buy it with the intention of having a prang:angel:

Nice motor in 'em.

the blue bucket in the pic looks like it covers a footing stirrup for a furture carport maybe. Does the new toy or the wife "shiney" car get the undercover spot ?

Mick-Kelly

It covers an old stirrup from the original front verandah. The 6 x 6 carport gets delivered on Monday. Both cars will have a flash garage then. The series one is currently in the garage in front of the jeep. The same garage the missus wants to turn into a media room. I promised her the series one was only in there short term but then i kinda pulled off the body panels and pulled off half the engine. :p:twisted:

Oh and of course this means that now i will find the perfect 110 with an owner who desperately wants to downsize into a Sonata. Thats just my luck.
