Does anyone have any experiance with the blue 4WD Systems battery isolators ?
I have just fitted one (not new) and it certainly seems to be working as it should. It has a diode on the top which changes from red to green depending on the state of isolation.
there is the same two colour diode on a cable for mounting on the dash (not connected when I got it). That is where my problem is, under the unit is a connector post, I thought for the positive wire for the remote diode and one for the earth for the unit. when connected to these terminals the unit clicks through to green (both batts conected)
Writen on the unit (by hand) is -on + off. A strait swap of pos. for neg. doesnt seem to be the answer.
Surely the diode cant get its feed from the main 12 volt cable.
Anyone got one? or any suggestions (nice ones);)
