Some time in 2003 I bought this IIA.

Nearing the end of 2005, I'd made a few changes to it. It was also at this time that I bought my 1994 Disco and unfortunately lost interest in ever being able to drive this Series on the road. It was relegated to the shed. (The colours are very out on this photo, old camera)

There is also the beautiful, quiet, powerful, flawless, much missed Land Cruiser in the back ground. In hindsight I'd have been wiser to buy it from the old man rather the buy a Disco. As much as I perhaps once was a LR person it'd have suited me far better.

The old Disco went, a new one came...

...and again I never turned a thought to the IIA. At last in January 2009 I decided to reunite it with the world. I don't think it looks half bad.

As we speak it is again sitting in a shed:(. At the rate I get things done I guess it isn't worth me having when someone else could be enjoying it and giving it the attention an old rover needs.
...and yes, that's my random musings for the evening over and done with.
