I heard on the radio this morning that in one area of Vic., some locals discovered several looters breaking into an evacuated property; the looters got bashed! There should be more of it I say! (the bashing not the looting...) Is there no limit to how low some people will go????

I know that there are thousands of good news about great people and what are they doing during these difficult times but some how I think that in times like this is when we have to rise our voices and bring this issues about our Laws and Justice to the politicians to act.
They are not going to loose popularity or votes if they bring firm laws and clear instructions to the Courts in Australia

What the hell is it with some people . For crying out loud why is it the some have to kick people while they are down and out . Not bloody Australian at all . What is Australian is how deep people are digging to help out these poor people . I seen a pic of a burnt aussie flag still raised ..... You can't keep an aussie down . Even the flag has hung in there .

People taking advantage of tragedy and disorder isn't anyhting new.

During the Christmas fires of 2001 that ripped through the Shoalhaven (NSW south coast - around Nowra/Jervis Bay) for two weeks, there was an attack on the parked cars of my local bushfiries. The cars were broken into and cleaned out........and then there was the fire truck that was ransacked and vandalised while the crew rested during the night.

Not to forget the rescue helicopter that was stoned and smashed by a bunch of feral kids on a hospital helo pad after the crew took a casualty inside. All these guys risk life and limb to fight fires, place themselves in danger to rescue stupid bush walkers or thrill seekers, and this is how some members of the community repay them.

Yep, there are some serious lowlifes out in the community - robbers, con-artists, looters and arsonists. Keep your eyes open.

No low is the scum that lit these things. :mad: I think the cops know who did it but for their "safety" they are wait for it to cool down a bit and we forget before they parade them as caught. if they did it now they know there would only be DNA for the coroner and a please explain for the cops
