Watching Driving around the world on fox the other night, swmbo says, I want a 4wd for my next car, one of them I think. She didn't believe me when i told her it was a L/R. Quote " thats not a landy, thats a nice car". So I had a little chuckle to myself then showed her how much the new ones were.
Not impressed, Oh well the focus is still new less than 3k on the clock. I'll be looking for a landy with all the goodies like leather etc. in a couple of years I suppose. I asked her whether she would consider a defender. To spartan apparently.
Can't wait to see how it eventuates when it is time for the focus to go.
I was also told under no circumstances would a series be driven by her, i stopped listening after hearing the words "bloody tractor mumble, mumble....."

It's too windy! (i shut the front flaps)

simple rules for anyone (yes, including hot females) who get in my car
1: no smoking
2: my car, my radio, my music and aircon settings
3: if you think you're gonna die because of something thats happening while i'm driving, dont interruppt me, i'm doing my best to keep you alive
4: dont like it? walk!

only one person ever broke #3, was about to overtake a slower car, he decided to stand on the brakes for a hidden turnoff on the highway (think work cam for queensland rail), i couldnt see around him on the right, so i went for the tabledrain, 2 wheels in the dirt at 110, looking at how close i am to his side trying not to hit a guidepost...... boss who was riding shotgun started screaming "stick, stick" (meaning guidepost) i looked over in time to see a guidepost collect my passenger side mirror, smacking it hard into the glass right beside his face..... told him i knew the damn thing was there, thats why i was trying to get closer to the ute on my right!
