few querries about cargo barriers, for a 95 d1
is it worth making one myself,
will one out of anather car fit, if so do you know what sort
where can i find one second hand

Personally wouldn't bother making one myself - better off to pick one up second hand (wreckers/ebay/Markets section here)

Keep and eye out in used car yards too. I recently got a cargo barrier (milford) and all the mounting hardware in exchange for a case of beer from a local car clearance yard.

Now I'm looking for a roof rack (you know how few are knocking around Alice Springs!!!)

I have one from a Magna. Not sure on the year. It is about one foot shorter than the original one but that makes it fit over my raised floor perfectly.
