Front prop shaft

Gday all , was just wondering if i can take of the front prop shaft on my 84 RR and still drive it (needs new unis) i used to do this with my 69 109 2A for a little more omph on Melb trips, can i do this with the rangie until i get the unis done?

Yes, just have to engage the diff lock.

I drove my County around in 2WD for 3 weeks like this and the running gear is the same as tour Rangie.

In fact, I think my fuel economy improved.

Handling was altered though (steering felt much lighter)
