Yet another motor hobbyist who has confused the cost of his hobby with value adding.
Collector car restorers are frequently guilty of this. "I have spent $pick a figure and I intend to get my money back".
Except in rare cases what they have is a cheap mass produced car of no great technical merit (any Toyota), or any competition history, restored at great expense to a standard the manufacturer never intended or indeed could achieve at the time of manufacture.
This guy has a Toyota Prado. Send it to an unreserved public auction and discover its true market value, maybe $20,000? He could take off most of the add-ons, sell them for whatever he can get, and achieve book price for the remainder. But not $69,900. This is a dream figure. Unless he can find a true wood duck he will have the car for a long time.

I dont know what else to say except that this car is just awesome and turns more heads than ferrarris and lamborghinis that i have driven by far. Its something that needs to be seen to be appreciated and photos dont do it justice in any manner.

There is no difference between what we do and what he does and I've got no doubt that he says about modified 4WD's exactly the same as what you're saying. Its really not that hard to see things from another persons perspective. Clearly he's into comp music or show car scenes etc and good on him for it, just because some other person doesn't value that, it's not to say that it doesn't have value.
As to WHY. Well, a brief think about it tells me that its something that interests him, its a scene that he enjoys, its a technical challenge that he likes to engauge it, it has attention grabbing aspects which he likes, it appeals to his pride in workmanship, he is excited by sound systems, loves technology etc etc etc but really, just to have fun is a good enough reason by itself and not something that he needs to justify to anybody but himself.

I would Take it to Vic high country , but before I do , I'd disconnect all that Pro Sound gear and advertise it for a Ricer to pay some good $$$ , take the Chromies off it as well , and put some average tyres on it. while I'm in Vic High Country I'd make sure to I find a Big drop and neutral and push it over the edge:o:D and the Money I'd make from the sale of the wheels and the Sound gear I'd finish my Rangie Project.

Live and let live.
As someone who considers climate control and electric seats bling my views on this...thing..are that I wouldn't have done it. But his car, his money, his life. I like my cars practical, he likes his impractical. I do appreciate the skill displayed by the builder(s) though.
He's selling it because for him the thrill is clearly in the build up, not the finished project. Plenty of people like that in the 4WD and Land Rover world too. Again I'm not one of them, but I do understand them.
But please god if you exist, don't ever let him near a Rangie Sport. I'd have to revise the live and let live philosophy.

Let me see if I have this right,
He has a TV screen that can only be viewed by opening the back door and standing outside the vehicle. It is surrounded by speakers that look as if they are intended to be turned up so loud that you would be deafened unless you stood back so far that the picture on the screen would be miniscule.
Or have I missed something?
PS. I think I have worked it out. I was assuming items on the vehicle were intended to be useful, practical, attractive or an improvement. Now that I have looked more closely at the wheels, the four flux capacitors and several other items, I can see that I had that wrong.
The TV is not intended to be used. He just put it there to prove that it could be done.
