If she hasn't had the ops. (teeth drawn, brain taken out) she'll never be a true Aussie.:D:D
I do hope she doesn't adopt an awful accent which sounds similiar to a parrot being strangled!
Good luck now Keiren, you'll need it.:o

I've got an Aussie one and you can't get a manual for them. When something goes wrong she causes me no end of grief until through pure guesswork, I rectify the problem.

I use the first "tongue in cheek" but it applies equally for it's true meaning.

Congratulations Kieren and Rachel.

Welcome to the big family we call Australia, not all the relatives like each other but we mostly remain civil.

I had the decision made for me when I was a little tacker, I would still make the same decision for myself.

Cheers mate.
Yeah, I'm Aussie born (Perth). Grew up in Beldon through the 70's, for those who know the area. Parents were £10 poms from the late 60's, and I got taken to UK when I was 9 yrs old.
As soon as I could I got my Aussie passport (entitled by being born here) so now dual citizen. Rach was born UK but obvioulsy now a dualer too after today, and though our young daughter was born in UK, she was entitled to Aussie cit too by birthright on my side.

Knew I wanted to return when I was about 13, but took me some 23 years since that first decision due to one thing or another.

So we are now all officially a family of Aussies with dual UK nationality......helps saves money on visas when travelling back and forth!

Albeit with dodgy pommie accents!! ;)

Agreed, I hate my accent. Luckily 7 years in the Royal Navy mixing with people from all over the UK toned it down a little but the brum in me still shows through. :( :(

I had the decision made for me when I was a little tacker, I would still make the same decision for myself.

Me too. I arrived in Aussie in 1955 when I was three and was naturalised with my parents in the Harvey Town Hall in 1966. I would make that same decision myself. I love this place!

So, Welcome to Aus, Rachel. You're not the only blow in here!
