Hi,
Anyone have some advise on fishing from the beach at bribie island? good spots(pm me ;) ) and what can be targeted etc. would love to target trevally or the like if possible.
thinking of going up that way Sunday (weather and tide depending) for a day fishing trip. would love to fly fish but not sure how popular this is here. but otherwise soft plastics, spinning and/or bait will do..

Thanks in adv.
Anton

fly fishing the calm side with a small red feather used to spectacular twenty odd years ago..

havent done it there in years as the gear was my mates...

surf side, anything is possible.. everything from jew to whiting including dart and lizards..

pippies, yabbies, worms and fresh mullet fillets are my favourite baits there.

Good tailor up near the "stop sign" (as far as they will let you go north in your 4x4 ) when they are running.
