How much more Diesel should my Landy use with an empty half rack fitted?

Caine, negligible increase. Even with an empty full length TJM alloy job, I would say it costs me less than quarter - half a litre per 100 km extra. The variance depends on head wind.

Funny you ask that! I had been wondering the same thing myself for the last few days.
I used to get around 850kms to a tank on my D2 TD5, since the 2" lift, ARB bullbar fitment & ARB half roof rack, that has dropped to a fraction over 700kms.
