Side Steps for a new LWB Defender... any recommendations, only my wife has decided its too high and she needs a step.
There is a nice fold down step bolted on the back, I'm going to have to take it off when I pop the towing bracket on. But after a quick look at the side, I can't see of any way to fix the step from the back onto the drivers side... so I'm going to have to source some kind of new step or side rail for the sides...

The fold down step from the back probably won't fit on the side, however side versions of these used to be available through LR and probably still are if you know the part numbers (I don't). LR also sell the full length side steps that have been fitted since the introduction of the TD5. Don't know how much though (exy?).
I have a set of old steps of my TD5 that need a respray and some dent filling (minor). If you are ever near Gladstone send me a PM and you can come and have a look.

There is a Stornoway Grey Puma in the Show us Your Deefers thread.

The side rail/steps? look interesting.... maybe PM the owner....

I have the fold down side steps on my Tdci defender. You can get them as a genuine or aftermarket part.
