That's St Andrews alright; that's where I live. We were saved by the wind change. Don't think the place will ever be the same again...

The first couple of pics show a VERY hot fire.No leaves left at all compared to the later pics showing the dried leaves.
We had an intense fire locally much like the first pics 2 years ago,unburnt forest for 40 years.
To see it now is a picture,unbelievable recovery by the bush.
We are about to start a job down that way,I should take some new pics where I took bushfire pics.
I know it doesnt help those who have lost everything in the fires but it will show just how well the environment recovers from intense fire storms.
