How do you remove silicone heat transfer past from a CPU?

I use Isopropyl alcohol just buy some Isocol rubbing alcohol that the cheapest way to get it.

I just wipe it down with a paper towel. It is messy gunk that is for sure.

I use metho.

normal metho leaves a residue.
use medicated metho it doesnt....
