Davis-Monthan AFB, aircraft boneyard and a heartbreaking sight for many aircraft buffs

If you are going near Toucan in Arizona USA check them out as in the mid nineties when I was passing through there you were able to do a tour of the facility. Had to book at least a month in advance as was very popular and places were limited.

Over the road from it is also a very large aircraft museum with most of their exhibits taken from the site before they were destroyed.

Both the RAAF and RAN have purchased aircraft from the Davis-Monthan aircraft boneyard.
