heated front window

in my handbook it mentions a switch (which my p38 HSE dos not have)
for heated front windscreen

would my windscreen still have the heater and would the car have the wiring to suit a switch

The heated screen is only for the diesel models. The diesel engines heat up slower than the petrols so a heated front screen is used to help demisting.

The wiring is there, 2 plugs at the base of the windscreen as you lift the bonnet. but you have no heater element, switch, and possibly, relay.

Just rub a spud on your window and it wont fog up. (rain x also works :D)
