in my handbook it mentions switchs (which my p38 HSE dos not have)
for front seat heaters

I can say that I have noticed on some cold mornings that my back seems warm and the unused front passengers seat feels a little hot as well but I am unsure on how if this is heaters how I managed to turn them on

my question is would the car have all the wiring etc to be able to add the switchs?

The heaters are in the seats, and the wiring is there. The switches are part of the HEVAC unit though, which makes it hard to install without shelling out 5-600 for a new one.

It's getting colder and i'm heading down to the snow soon. I'd love to get mine working... Does anyone know if it's possible to add a switch independant of the HEVAC unit?

all wiring and heaters are in place you only need switchs. then the hard part is turning them on this has to be done via test book (not hard if you have it) or the dealer.
