just poped in to say hi to every one and ask a question related to my engine coolant.
what type do i use? i had a look at it the other day and saw that it wasnt added to the water, either the prevous owner or my ex mechanic didnt bother to put any coolant in when it was last serviced.
an answer from some body will be greatly appreciated..thank you

Land Rover recommend OAT coolent (red) 50/50 mix, other say the standard Glycol coolent (green) is also OK, but, DON'T MIX THE BOTH TOGETHER, It's recommended you flush the system then put the new coolent in if you don't know what coolent was in before.

Don't forget to bleed the system after filling it.

How do you bleed it?
I thought that with the plug out of the top hose it would purge the air as it filled. But that was only a guess!
