G'day Guys can some recommend me some video converter software I have tried a few but the quality is pathetic and it seems to take hours to upload onto photo bucket just for one video:mad: is there an easier option out there as I'm trying to upload pics for my build up thread and will have an angry mob hunting me down if i dont hurry up with the updates:D

Hally,
Simplest and cheapest (if you're running windows):
Import your vid into MS Movie Maker.
Edit it.
Publish it to your computer while setting the maximum file size.
I do this for my Youtube vids, limiting the size to 95mb (as 100mb is/was the limit) .
Cheers.

AVS video converter, i just watched a movie that i converted from an AVI file to DVD and watched it on my 46" full HD LCD thru a blu ray player that upscales and the quality was much better than expected and at least as good as a commercially sourced DVD. I previously used AVItoDVD and Nero but find AVS much more reliable.
Oops just read your post properly as WD3 said MS moviemaker is easy to use and has options for output file use ie website,pc playback, DVD etc.

one that i know of is Xilisoft, you have to buy the full version but the trial shows plenty of input/output options. fairly simple to use as well

I use Blaze Video Magic 2 for portable media I use on my iPhone etc but Moviemaker is good for web uploads.
There is a few around now so its really a "suck n see" thing.
Moviemaker if you havent got it can be had for free from Microsoft here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/updates/moviemaker2.mspx)
Cheers
