tail light mounting clip

Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the metal retaining clip that holds the taillight assembly inplace in the bumper bar So far all I have found are people trying to sell me the whole tail light assembly $60 - $90 for a 10c piece of metal
I have a 2004 TD5

Hi Keith, you don't want to know that I threw out a light fitting with a cracked lens just last week.

Try a wrecker - they would surely get broken lights from time to time with springs still intact.

I lost one of these bumper lights out of our D2 Disco on a long corrugated road - just fell off completely. The spring must have let go.

Some twit planted a lightpole right where I was trying to reverse :o

Have to pick up a new light on the weekend, but if it comes with clips, I will quite happily part with one & use my originals.

I fixed mine up for good,got sick of them falling out on corrogations,put a light film of superglue on the edge where they fit against the bumper,no more problems:):)

if all else fails the superglue trick sounds better than the gaffer tape solution I am about to use
