Hey guys just looking for some Ideas I have an 1989 rrc v8 auto on lpg. Every now and then when I am doing a bit of slow off roading or towing and the trucks getting a bit hot i.e 3/4 on the gauge. I pull up some where and shut it off the thing wont start again till it cools off. I get ignition lights on the dash and the relays seem to be clicking but I get nothing at the starter. I will have to make sure I have a multimeter handy next time it does it so I can isolate it. If anyone has had similar problems please let me know cheers shane

Love 2 part questions
If the Starter motor does not work when car is hot ... Replace starter motor with NEW
If you want to test the theory ... when hot & no start ... bonnet up ... Get someone to hold the starter key on ... hit starter motor with end of a broom handle or nylon hammer
If the gauge gets to 3/4 temp .... Rod the radiator ... Keep on top of the maintenance of the cooling side. as it is MORE important than say "changing the engine oil"

I agree with the starter motor possibilities.
