Hi all,
I am seriosly considering buying a genuine Land Rover rear ladder for my new Defender 110. i have been looking around and there does not seem to be a big choice.
I will be putting on an ARB roof cage. Arb don't make one but sell an aluminium one.
The one piece ladder from LR will cost $242. At least the genuine one has a cutout fot the number plate.
Do you think i am getting ripped off?
Who else makes them?
Are the genuine ones god quality?

PS. does anyone know where i can get a spare wheel cover? I am afraid to ask LR for a price...

Have just fitted a Wincheater expidition rack and rear ladder to my TDCi - all purchased via Rovacraft. Easy to fit and come in two sections so as not to hide the plates.

I think front runner also do one Dolium Pty Ltd (http://www.dolium.com.au)

Yeah, I've got the one from Dolium.

Its pretty light, not to hard to fit. It mounts on the gutter at the top and a few bolts through the bottom.

I've got tomorrow off, so I'll try and post a pic.

Yep the Dolium one is the same as mine :) Its also the same as what you get from Opposit Lock.

It looks different than the one on the website, maybe they have changed the design.

There is no way you could make that ladder for less than $242 so no you aren't getting ripped off and yes they are a very good thing. Pat
