Hey all
Anyone had made or bought sheepskins for the electric seats????. Just thought it might make looking for them a bit quicker.

DRanged,
When I got my D3 I made enquiries about seat covers. Was advised that if seats have airbags in them (which used to be standard in SE and HSE models) then seat covers should not be fitted. This is because they interfere with the deployment of the airbags.
Have never found any that can cater for the side airbags located in the seats.
If you do find some can you please post details.
Thanks

Car Seat Cover - Multifit Air Bag Release (Pair) (http://www.aussiesheepandwool.com.au/prod152.htm)
Would these clear the SRS ? Not seen a deployed bag , so you
would have to check its exit point.
I think Merc have sheepy covers in the range, with the
usual split down the sides. Detracts from the fit, but that's
necessary.
Search around the web sites.

I have a client here in Perth that fitted compliant sheep-skin covers - I'll ask him where he got them from.
Cheers,

Prestige Sheepskin, Malaga WA (08 9249 1699) do them - they have the cut-out for the seat air-bags, but I don't think it was for the electric seats - are they any different? You'll have to ring them for a quote.
Cheers,
Gordon

Hi,
I have seat covers from Sheepskin Tailors / RM Wickens.
They have the cut out in the side for the Air Bags. Had them over three years now. Still like new. Were about $500 at that time. Very happy with them. They sent samples before I ordered them. Ordered them online, free delivery.
